I'd like to start this blog post with the standard, "When the Gentleman came to me about writing this month's guest writer comic...," except technically, they didn't come to me. Ultimately, James had mentioned to me that they were going to start doing guest writers and eventually they would call on me. This is something I began to agonize about, as I feared I wouldn't be able to come up with something that would be funny. Then, an idea came to me, and I began writing the comic myself so I would be prepared when they did ask me.
Without giving too much away, this strip derives from an actual real-life experience, which happened twice. A few weekends back, I saw two seperate movies. Both times the same trailer played, and both times I'd notice the same thing. At a certain pivotal point in the trailer, the crowd had the same reaction both times. Like I said, I don't want to give too much away about the strip, in case you're reading this first. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this.
