075. Now You're a Man

Good gravy, I've finally written a normal strip! Joy! Over-excitement and corny phrases aside, let's get started. About a year ago, I heard rumors of an action film that would blow all others out of the water. Sylvester Stallone announced that it was going to be crazy and that any fan of the genre should be sure to check it out. At first, I didn't really care and blew it off as him trying to relive the '80s again. Then came the day I saw the casting announcement, and I gasped in pure excitement. Not only did it have the best action stars of the '80s, but some of today's as well. On top of that, the storyline was about mercenaries kicking ass in a drug-infested foreign country. This isn't just nostalgia, it's the god damn '80s back with a vengeance.

As for the comic, this Friday will see the release of this monsterpeice (too cheesy for you?!) and let me just say, I am excited as hell. So basically, this strip outlines a few of my thoughts on the matter. All I can think of when I see trailers is "TESTOSTERONE" and how much is bursting forth. The only way I could represent these feelings was basically showing conversation that would likely take place between one of my friends and me. As artists, my friends and I are pretty weird ass people, so this should be no surprise to anyone. I'm beginning to ramble, aren't I? Anyway, read the strip, chuckle, guffaw and anything else that represents you thinking that this was hilarious. If you don't, I will cry like a little girl ...,and no one wants to see that.
