To the people that know me, my hetero man-crush on Nathan Fillion is no secret. I'm a huge fan of Firefly, as well as the movie Serenity and thus, a fan of Captain Malcolm Reynolds. This infatuation continued through the movie Slither, in which Fillion was Sheriff Bill Pardy. And of course, I loved Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog. This all in turn led to me watching Castle, for which I was rediculed by my friends, despite the fact that one of them now has started watching the show and claims to enjoy it.
But as much as I'd like to claim all credit for today's comic, I must give credit to the Gentlemen. In a character description of Trevor that came out soon after his untimely, albeit shortly lived (or is that unlived) demise, it stated that Trevor leaves behind his real doll of one Nathan Fillion. While this was an obvious jab at my man-crush on said actor, I really liked the idea of this and wanted to run with that premise in today's comic.
So, I'd like to thank the Gentlemen for allowing me to do this twisted comic tale of memorabilia collecting gone too far. And I hope that you, the reader, enjoy today's comic as much as I enjoyed doing my extensive field research on the subject matter.
Enjoy,
Travis "I don't actually have a Nathan Fillion real doll" Kennedy
