030. Gentemen United

"Image United" has been a disaster, in my opinion. Every other panel looks like a sloppy Frankenstein puzzle, where each artist is trying to upstage the last. It’s great to see the founders (most of them) collaborate, but to collaborate within each panel of a comic makes a mess.


While some of the artists bring strong interpretations of style, the others clash heavily with too-little detail versus exaggerated detail versus someone else's realistic detail. That’s why Nick, Aaron ad I got together to demonstrate how our different artistic styles — or lack thereof — create a comic mess.
